I'd definitely like to get more professional insight on the topic, whether that be through official lectures, or teaching outside of the standard module. 2) I was incredibly frustrated with the Okuson problem sheet when it was first released, as I was very eager to to take on the problems. What I found was that my lack of curricular knowledge hindered my progress, and I was dependent on future lectures in order to fully understand certain problems. It's still a source of frustration, as there's only 1 question left which I'm fairly certain isn't possible for me to take on without more knowledge regarding RSA cryptosystems :( I can see the benefits of having a system like this - it prevents people from cherry-picking content they feel they need to know, whilst glancing over the fundamentals. With that in mind, I'm hesitant to ask you to give some of us future lecture material, as that may in fact be detrimental to our success in the module, but it's definitely something that is quite infuriating.
