We computed an example of a double integral over a Type II region. We then discussed polar coordinates, noting that in previous years some students struggled with the notion that angles are measured using radians in this context. We saw that the area element dA is dxdy in Cartesian form and dA is rdrd\theta in polar form. We then set up an example from Stewart to illustrate this.
