In this lecture we derive the cross product of two vectors in 3-dimensional Euclidean space as another application of solving a system of linear equations. We define linear transformations from n-dimensional Euclidean space to m-dimensional Euclidean space and we learn how to represent them by m x n matrices using the standard bases.
