\abstract

I have discovered a truly marvellous proof of the statement
that no three positive integers $a$, $b$, and $c$
satisfy the equation
\[
a^n + b^n = c^n,
\]
for any integer $n>2$, improving upon the rather long-winded argument
of Wiles~\cite{AW}.
