The Department offers supervision in a wide area of mathematical interests. Admission to a research degree is at the discretion of the potential supervisor and the head of department, and is based on a proposal from the applicant following discussion with the members of staff whose academic area of interest is most appropriate.
Here is some general information on research degrees in the Science Faculty and the Arts Faculty.
Potential supervisors and their research interests can be found on the research page and the personal web pages of members of staff.
